In Tashkent’s Yangihayot district, a man who came “to relax” was held administratively liable for committing indecent acts against two women. This was reported based on court documents.
According to the information, on October 14, a resident of “Yangi Turmush” neighborhood, Z.F., invited a man named M.A. to her home through an acquaintance to “read” her a bad dream. The acquaintance said that she would have to pay 3.6 million soums for the service. However, after arriving, the man first harassed her niece and then tried to kiss the woman herself.
Frightened, Z.F. contacted law enforcement authorities.
On October 21, the Yangihayot District Court reviewed the case. M.A. admitted his guilt and expressed remorse.
The court found him guilty under Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (“Indecent acts”) and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest.
Experts urge citizens to be cautious when inviting strangers into their homes and to immediately contact the police in case of any suspicious behavior.
