3 year-old boy breaks shoulder in kindergarten

In the “Magnat” private kindergarten located in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a three-year-old child suffered a broken shoulder.

According to the child’s mother, the incident occurred on October 21. She came to pick up her son as usual but noticed that something was wrong.

“Normally, he runs toward me with a smile. But that day, he walked slowly and looked sad. When I lifted him up, he cried out in pain. Later, when I saw he couldn’t raise his arm, I rushed him to the doctor. The X-ray showed that his shoulder was broken,” said the mother.

She claims that the kindergarten staff initially tried to hide the incident. When asked about it via Telegram, one of the staff members replied, “Other children accidentally stepped on him while folding blankets — nothing serious happened.”

According to the kindergarten administration, the child was not injured by a teacher but by other children playing under the blanket. They suggested that the child might have mistakenly thought the teacher had pressed on him.

The teacher received a disciplinary warning. The head of the kindergarten stated that the administration was ready to cover all medical expenses for the child’s recovery, but the family refused the offer.

At present, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education has not yet issued an official statement on the incident. Experts note that this case once again highlights the need for stricter supervision in private kindergartens.
