The press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Police Department provided official information about the incident. A video relating to the incident in Tashkent city has been circulated on social media.
In the Almazar district, the driver of a “Tracker-2” vehicle deliberately created a dangerous situation for a bus, putting the lives of its passengers at risk. The incident happened on October 29, at approximately 17:00.
Regarding this incident, the management of Toshshahartansxizmat contacted the Tashkent City Police Department’s Traffic Safety Department, requesting legal action to be taken. As a result, an administrative report was drawn up against the driver in accordance with the article of the Administrative Liability Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Creating an obstruction or emergency situation by drivers of vehicles, entering the lane for oncoming traffic.”
The driver may be fined 10 basic calculation units (4,120,000 UZS). The driver explained his actions by claiming that the bus driver had earlier cut him off while turning.
