Reports have circulated on social media claiming that cases of nodular dermatitis have been found among cattle in Andijan region. The Regional Department of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development has issued an official statement in response.
According to the statement, no cases of this disease have been detected among livestock in Andijan region. All farm and household cattle have been fully vaccinated against nodular dermatitis and other infectious diseases by veterinary teams.
The department stated that blood samples taken from vaccinated animals showed no signs of infection.
“There is no reason for concern. All livestock in the region are under constant veterinary supervision,” the official message said.
Experts urge citizens to rely only on information provided by official sources.
