In order to study the compliance of advertising information of banks operating in the territory of the Kashkadarya region with the requirements of the law "On Advertising," a study was conducted by the regional division of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights. As a result of inspections, it was found that on the roof of the Kashkadarya regional branch building of "Infinbank" joint stock company, there was an outdoor advertising object with the bank's name, and on the front facade of the building, a "billboard" displaying the bank's name and types of services had been installed.
Additionally, it was noted that an external advertisement in the form of a "stele" with the bank's logo was installed on I. Karimov Street, on the side of the road opposite the bank building.
These cases violated the requirements of the law "On Advertising" and Resolution No. 104 of the Cabinet of Ministers, which regulates the external advertising market. Therefore, the special commission of the regional administration initiated a case on the matter and as a result imposed a financial penalty on the bank branch.
Moreover, a mandatory order was issued to eliminate the violation and prevent such occurrences in the future. However, the bank disagreed with the decision and the order and filed a lawsuit.
