An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 was recorded in Namangan in the evening

Today, November 11, at 22:32 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in the Namangan region. This was officially reported by the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostics.

According to the data, the magnitude of the natural movement was 3.9 points, and the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 193 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, that is, in the territory of the Kasansay district. The power at the epicenter was 4 points. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 16 kilometers. Geographic coordinates: 41.21 degrees north latitude and 71.52 degrees east longitude.

According to the Center, the earthquake was felt in the Namangan region at a magnitude of 2-3. There have been no reports of casualties or major damage as a result of the incident.

Currently, local emergency services and seismologists are monitoring the situation in the area. According to experts, such weak earthquakes are occasionally observed as a natural process in the Fergana Valley.

We remind you that a few days ago, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 also occurred in the city of Gazli, Bukhara region. No accidents or damage were recorded in it either.
