
In the Namangan region, strict measures were taken against drivers who committed gross violations on the roads after wedding processions. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 50 drivers who violated the rules during the wedding mobilization were identified and given administrative penalties.
It was revealed that these individuals were drifting, crossing into the oncoming lane, and posing a serious threat to pedestrians and other vehicles. They also recorded these notes and distributed them on social networks.
According to the court decision, 25 drivers who committed the violation were deprived of their driving rights for one year and fined 25 times the Basic Calculated Value (BCV).
The remaining 25 individuals were fined 5 times the Basic Calculated Value (BCV) - 2,060,000 soums.
For information, a similar situation was observed in Andijan - legal measures were taken against drivers who violated traffic rules in a procession on the occasion of a wedding.
Officials emphasize that such actions pose a serious threat to road safety and urge citizens to strictly follow the rules.
