In recent days, a serious problem has been raised on social networks: it became known that the faces of famous bloggers were forged using artificial intelligence and used to promote gambling games. The Competition Committee officially commented on this.
According to reports, fake videos and photos resembling real ones were created through AI, and fake advertisements were distributed that people could believe. In particular, it was revealed that Elmurod Haqnazarov's voice was falsified, and deceptive calls were spread saying "bet money and earn high income."
It also became known that bloggers D. Nazarov and A. Abdurakhmanov did not actually advertise any gambling games, but their images were used in fake materials.
Officials urged citizens to be cautious: any advertisement using the image or voice of a celebrity may not be authentic. It was firmly emphasized that the promotion of products or games prohibited by law leads to serious danger.
It was also recalled that the first computer virus using artificial intelligence was recently identified - which indicates a growing digital threat.
