
Another tragic case of carbon monoxide poisoning was recorded in the Andijan region. It was reported that the 52-year-old man died from the effects of carbon monoxide emitted from a homemade heating stove burning coal.
The incident occurred on December 1 of this year at approximately 15:55 on the territory of the "Chavkandaryo" mahalla citizens' assembly in Andijan district. A citizen born in 1973 was poisoned by carbon monoxide in his apartment and was taken to the district Emergency Medical Care Department in serious condition.
Despite the assistance provided by doctors, he died on December 12 at the Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the deceased was diagnosed with severe carbon monoxide poisoning, a coma, and acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
Currently, the district prosecutor's office is conducting a pre-investigation check on the situation.
