
During a joint operation conducted as part of efforts to combat human trafficking by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an individual involved in criminal activity was detained at Tashkent International Airport. As a result of this operation conducted by law enforcement agencies, a serious crime was prevented.
It has been revealed that S.N., a resident of the capital born in 1998, planned to take two citizens to Thailand with the intent of involving them in prostitution. He was apprehended in the airport area while preparing to carry out this plan to send the citizens abroad.
Preliminary investigation data indicate that the mastermind behind this criminal scheme is F.A., born in 2005, who is currently in Thailand. Investigative authorities have identified this individual as the organizer of the crime.
It has been reported that, based on the circumstances, criminal charges have been initiated against the suspects under Article 135, Part 2, Sections “b,” “g,” “e,” and “z” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At present, investigative measures are ongoing to provide a legal assessment of all aspects of the case.
Experts emphasize that such rapid response operations are of critical importance in ensuring the safety of citizens and in effectively combating serious crimes such as human trafficking.
