Alisher Qodirov calls on compatriots in Russia and issues a warning

Alisher Qodirov, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and leader of the Milliy Tiklanish party, commented on reports that an Uzbek citizen was beaten to death by OMON officers in Russia’s Khabarovsk and addressed compatriots living in Russia.

Qodirov said the situation in Russia is worsening day by day, and Russian special services are blaming only the peoples of Central Asia. He advised compatriots who are still living in Russia to leave the country as soon as possible.

"Believe me, the situation will only get worse month by month. Russian special services assume that Central Asians will be active participants in the unrest expected in Russia. That is why they have long since given up on any benefit that could come from them," Qodirov wrote on his Telegram channel.

At the same time, Qodirov repeatedly stressed the importance of leaving Russia, urging: "Use your common sense—leave Russia as soon as possible! No income is worth the tears of your parents and children!"

With this message, Qodirov aims to draw attention to protecting the lives and safety of Uzbeks and to their family well-being.
