Person arrested for drunken brawl in Tashkent

In Tashkent, an administrative penalty was applied to a 35-year-old man who violated the peace of citizens by consuming alcoholic beverages in a public place. The Qalampir publication reported this, citing court documents.
It was reported that on February 20 of this year, at approximately 10:00 a.m., M.K., while intoxicated, shouted loudly, insulted others, and deliberately violated public order in the Mirabad district. At the same time, he did not comply with the lawful demands of the internal affairs officers to stop the offense and go to the Department of Internal Affairs.
During the investigation, it was also revealed that the citizen was illegally carrying a cold bladed weapon with him.
This case was considered in the Mirabad District Criminal Court, where the offender fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse for his actions.
By court decision, he was found guilty of petty hooliganism, alcohol consumption in a public place, illegal transportation of prohibited items, and failure to comply with the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer, and was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest and a fine of 2 million 60 thousand soums - 5 times the base calculation amount.
