In Yakkabog, he was detained for accepting money with the promise of a driver's license

In the Yakkabog district of the Kashkadarya region, a person who promised to get a driver's license was detained during an operation. Official information from the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office notes that regular operational measures are being carried out in connection with similar cases.
A person named M.M., previously convicted of fraud and other crimes, allegedly told citizen Sh.B. that he could issue a driver's license through his high-ranking acquaintances. He even promised to resolve this issue by preparing a document confirming completion of the driver training course. That is, we are talking not about simple assistance, but about obtaining a certificate through forgery.
It was reported that he was caught red-handed while receiving $1,200 in exchange for this "service." This means that the operation was planned in advance and conducted under the supervision of law enforcement agencies. Usually, in such cases, the receipt of funds is considered one of the main proofs of a criminal act.
It is said that a criminal case has been initiated against him on the basis of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, that is, fraud, as well as Articles 28 and 211 of the Criminal Code, that is, bribes. In the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, these articles establish liability for fraudulent acquisition of property and bribery or actions related to it.
Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing. Now the main task will be to determine whether there were other participants in the criminal scheme, as well as whether this case was committed individually or if there are other connections behind it.
In short, one can be convinced once again that behind promises to quickly resolve the issue of a document or benefit through "acquaintances" in many cases lies fraud. In such cases, the most correct way is for citizens to choose only the legal path and not believe suspicious proposals.
