New details have emerged in Bekabad regarding an incident that shocked the public. The body of a 43-year-old citizen who was hit by a car driven by an internal affairs officer and then thrown into the Farhod canal was identified after 80 days. This was reported by the relatives of the deceased.
It should be recalled that the incident occurred on December 11, 2025. According to available information, a senior operative officer of the Bekabad city Department of Internal Affairs got behind the wheel while intoxicated. After hitting the citizen on the road, he attempted to conceal the traces of a serious crime by loading the body into a “Nexia” car and driving it away from the scene.
He then called his spouse. The woman arrived in a “Matiz” car. Without wasting time, the husband and wife transferred the body into a second vehicle and threw it into the Farhod canal, located approximately 35 kilometers from the scene of the incident.
After that, search operations were carried out along the section of the canal from the point where the body had been thrown to the Syrdarya River. Nearly three months later, it is reported that the body of the deceased was found.
