President explained the new system in Karshi

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has introduced a new systematic approach to resolving alimony payment issues, using the city of Karshi as a primary example. An analysis of 11,000 public appeals revealed significant challenges regarding child support obligations. Specifically, investigations into 255 individuals evading alimony payments showed that 193 were unemployed despite having professional skills, while 62 were underreporting their actual income.

To address this, a collaborative effort involving local authorities, banks, employment centers, and the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement has been launched. The initiative focuses on integrating these individuals into the workforce by connecting them with local industrial and service sector vacancies or encouraging entrepreneurship. For those seeking employment abroad, the state will facilitate vocational and language training, followed by the signing of tripartite agreements to ensure secure, high-paying jobs.

Simultaneously, the tax inspection office, in coordination with the Prosecutor General's Office, is working to bring hidden income sources into the formal economy. This comprehensive strategy aims to stabilize the financial support for approximately 700 children, ensuring their welfare is prioritized through sustainable employment and transparent financial practices. The government expects this model to serve as a blueprint for other regions across the country.
