As a result of an operational measure conducted in the Almazar district of Tashkent, illegal gambling activities were suppressed. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
It was established that a person born in 1998 had been illegally organizing risk-based games in one of the apartments located on Dilsaroy Street in the Almazar district. It was also revealed that special conditions for gambling were created there.
During the operational event, cash, a rubber bat, and playing cards were seized from the scene as physical evidence.
According to the suspect, he had been gambling with acquaintances for several months. "I regret what I have done." I knew it was illegal, but at the time, I needed the money for my personal needs. I do not recommend such a path to anyone," he commented.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and an investigation is underway.
