The Tragic Fate of an 11th-Grade Girl Who Became a Victim of Jealousy in Namangan

A horrific incident in the Kosonsoy district of the Namangan region has shocked the public. Driven by jealousy, a young man stabbed his fiancée, an 11th-grade student, ending her life.

According to preliminary information, the tragedy occurred on May 6 of this year around 08:30 on Navobot Street, Yoshlik neighborhood, Kosonsoy district. Due to jealousy, the young man got into an argument with his fiancée. He then stabbed her multiple times in the chest and abdomen with a knife he had with him, intending to kill her, and fled the scene.

Despite being rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, doctors were unable to save the girl's life. She passed away at the hospital.

Upon receiving the report, an investigative team arrived at the scene. The area was thoroughly examined, evidence was collected in accordance with official procedures, and relevant forensic examinations were ordered.

The Kosonsoy District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case against the young man under Article 97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code—intentional murder. He has also been detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
