Before determining the dates of the group stage matches of the Uzbekistan Cup, the League took into account the possible matches of the Pakhtakor and OKMK clubs on the international stage.
If Pakhtakor manages to overcome the Al-Hilal barrier in the 1/8 finals of the Elite Champions League, it will be in Saudi Arabia from April 25 to May 3 and will be able to participate in the next centralized stage of the competition. OKMK, on the other hand, is likely to defend the honor of Uzbekistan in the competition planned to be held by CAFA from April 26 to May 5. Therefore, it was decided that the cup will start not with matches in groups A, B, D, E, but with matches in groups F, G, H, I.
However, the order will change in the 3rd round. Taking into account that on May 27, Nasaf and Andijan will play in the Uzbek Super Cup, it was decided that the group matches in which they took part will end earlier.
