Ivan Boshkovic: "In football, everything doesn't always turn out the way you want it to"
After the match "Nasaf" - "Sogdiana" (1:0) in the 1st round of the Super League, the head coach of the visiting team Ivan Boshkovich took part in a press conference.

- First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone on the start of the big football season in Uzbekistan. I can say that it was a difficult game. We waited for our chances and wanted to score goals. We witnessed a match full of struggles. The opponent was very strong. Our plan was to win, but in the end we made a mistake. Both "Nasaf" and we had chances. We will start preparing more seriously for the next matches.

- You have already formed a good team in "Sogdiana". What are your plans for this season?
- We want to win every match. Give more opportunities to local youth our main goal. They will grow during the games, and our team will also grow stronger. Many of our players are considered the main candidates for the youth national teams of different countries. In the process towards our goal, there are aspects that need to be waited for and patient.

- Today was the first game of the championship. Will the players be under pressure?
- Of course, there is always excitement in the first games. There is a lack of clarity, sometimes there is not enough experience to adapt. It is difficult to play bright football, we cannot show our best.

- What plans did you have for Doriev and Andreev?
- They are undoubtedly the leaders of our team. However, sometimes injuries are a warning, you do not want to take risks. In football, there are many reasons that are not related to one person, so everything does not go the way you want.

- Today's game seemed very emotional for you ...
- I guess I always get emotional in the heat of the game. I strive for calm, but in Uzbek football, the referees probably remember me more than anyone else.

- Last season, you managed to beat Nasaf twice. You have clearly studied this team better. What changes have you noticed in Nasaf's playing style today?
- As I said, not much can be seen in the first match of the championship. A lot depends on the individual skills of the players. Nasaf is a good team and can always compete. We will do our best to win in our match in Jizzakh.
