Benzema explains why he left Real Madrid

One of the greatest strikers in Real Madrid's history, Karim Benzema, left the club in the summer of 2023 and joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, sports.uz reported.

The 36-year-old striker explained why he left Spain’s most powerful club:

– Why did I leave Real? Because I achieved everything there. I joined as a young boy and left as a man with many trophies and a Ballon d'Or. All my dreams came true at this club, – said Benzema.

Karim Benzema joined Al-Ittihad as a free agent. His current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
