Shomurodov added Juventus to his list of "victims"!

Eldor Shomurodov has been playing in the Italian championship since October 2020. The 29-year-old striker is our player who has played the most games in the European "top-5" leagues. In addition, Eldor became the first Uzbek legionnaire to score a goal in the top five championships and the one who scored the most goals.

Shomurodov's debut season in Serie A is considered the most productive in his career. In 2020-2021, our legionnaire, who defended the honor of the oldest Italian team, Genoa, scored eight goals in the championship.

Eldor scored his first goal in Serie A against Parma. Later, our compatriot scored once against Sassuolo, Verona, Spezia, Lazio, and Cagliari, and scored his first double in the match against Atalanta.

After a productive season, Eldor Shomurodov moved to Roma, which is mentioned among the grand clubs. In his first season in the capital club, our striker scored in two matches against Venezia and one match against Sampdoria.

Also, in the same season, he scored against Lecce in the quarter-final match of the Italian Cup, opening his scoring in this competition.

Eldor's next goal in the championship was scored against Spezia, where he was on loan. In this team, he left our compatriot, Salernitana goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, helpless.

Shomurodov spent the next season at Cagliari. The most effective actions of that season, which was remembered for a serious injury, fell on the second half of the championship. Shomurodov, like the year before, again found his way to the Salernitana goal. This time, he forced the Uzbek player Guillermo Ochoa to take the ball behind him twice.

Then, he scored a goal against the mighty Inter, saving Cagliari from defeat, and the one point he earned later helped the Sardinians maintain their place in the top division.

Finally, at the beginning of this season, Eldor's goal against Empoli was Roma's first goal in the championship, and it was this goal that ensured Shomurodov's stay in Rome.

Later, the goalkeepers of Monza and Juventus failed to save the goals scored by our compatriot.

It should be noted that the captain of the Uzbek national team also scored a goal against Sampdoria in the Italian Cup this season.

Another interesting fact. As a player of Roma, Shomurodov also opened the scoring in prestigious UEFA tournaments. In particular, in the first season of the Conference League, Eldor Shomurodov scored a goal against the Turkish team Trabzonspor, and in the end, Roma won the main prize in this competition.
