Is there a rematch against Inter? Kompany assesses Bayern's chances!

Munich "Bayern" lost to Milan "Inter" 2:1 in the first match of the Champions League quarterfinals. However, despite the 1-2 defeat, the Munich team once again proved that they are not a team that “falls” on the field of battle, but a team that “gets up quickly”.

Belgian head coach Vincent Kompany, despite the disappointing result, gave his fans a hearty welcome at his post-match press conference:

“We had enough chances to score – not just two or three, but more. We have Inter with strong strikers, but we looked more dangerous than them.”

Milan will not give up!
Kompany made it clear that his team is ready for the rematch at the Allegri Stadium:

"Injuries, apologies... these are excuses. We will use our abilities in Milan as well. This is only the first half of the match. No team goes into the dressing room after losing the first half 1:2 and says: "Okay, we give up, we go home." On the contrary, we will gain strength from this."

According to the head coach, Bayern still have enough reasons to win and make it to the semi-finals:

"I don't feel that my team can't threaten the opponent. It's just that sometimes the result is not fair."

There is no doubt that the bridge of trust between Bayern fans and Kompany will be further strengthened in the second leg. A lot can change in 90 minutes. The Reds will host Inter in a special spirit.
