Pau Kubarsi sets UCL record with assist against Dortmund

In the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg between Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, 18-year-old Pau Kubarsi (77 days past his birthday) made history. He became the youngest defender ever to provide an assist in the competition.

Previously, the record was held by Vincent Kompany, but Kubarsi has now surpassed him. His assist set up Robert Lewandowski’s goal in the 48th minute.
