For this very purpose, City is showing interest in the French defender Oumar Solet, who currently plays for Udinese. The club is prepared to pay €30 million for his transfer. Liverpool and Chelsea are also contenders for the player.

Interestingly, in the current season, due to injuries to players such as Manuel Akanji, John Stones, and Nathan Aké, the club was forced to strengthen the squad in winter by bringing in Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis. As a result, the Uzbek legionnaire played several matches in the starting lineup.
