The IV Division games of the World Hockey Championship have ended in Yerevan, Armenia. The Uzbek national team successfully participated in the tournament and took first place.
The hockey players defeated Kuwait 13:3, Iran 20:0, Indonesia 26:1 and Malaysia 18:3, and lost to Armenia 2:3 in a shootout. However, the points collected were enough to take 1st place in the tournament.

Now the Uzbek national hockey team will participate in the 2026 World Championship in Division III B.
The first national team in the history of Uzbekistan was formed by young Uzbek hockey players and a number of Russians who had experience playing for the Tashkent club "Humo".
The national team is mainly composed of hockey players from the "Humo" club. Local hockey players Javokhir Rasulov became the team captain. The remaining hockey players are Russians: Artem Maltsev, Daniil Kogan, Ilya Nazarevich, Vasily Zhilov, Egor Dorofeev, as well as Pavel Sinyavsky.
