Representatives of our country are on the podium again at the World Championships in Peru

The next day of the World Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships in Peru was also successful for our country. Winners and prize-winners were determined in a number of weight categories. The most gratifying thing is that this time there are also athletes from Uzbekistan among the prize-winners.

Two medals from Marjonah Abdumutalova

Marjonah Abdumutalova, who competed in the women's -59 kg weight category, demonstrated balanced movements on the bench and achieved good results.

She won a bronze medal in the clean and jerk with a result of 102 kg. According to the results of two competitions (snatch + clean and jerk), Marjonah won a silver medal with a total load of 190 kg. This result added another major prize to the account of the Uzbekistan delegation.

Confident performance from Hikmatillo Khaidarov

Hikmatillo Khaidarov, who took the podium in the men's -81 kg weight category, also acted confidently. He lifted 154 kg in the clean and jerk and won a bronze medal.

For several days now, members of the Uzbek national team have been regularly awarded prizes at the World Junior and Youth Championships. This is another confirmation of the experience and potential of our country in weightlifting.
