Young Uzbek judokas stunned Europe: They are returning from the tournament in Istanbul with victories!

This week, Istanbul, Turkey hosted the prestigious "European Cup - 2025" youth judo tournament. The Uzbek youth team successfully participated in it, once again demonstrating its prestige on the international stage.

More than 500 talented judokas from almost 30 countries of the world attended this prestigious sporting event. In the tournament, which was full of fierce competition and fierce battles, the youth of Uzbekistan managed to attract the attention of the fans with their bright performances.

In particular, two of our representatives, Aselkhan Aralbayeva and Umida Nigmatova, who took to the mat in their weight categories, defeated all their rivals and deservedly became owners of gold medals. Each victory of these young judokas was an important event that demonstrated the potential of our country in the field of sports.

Our young judokas also showed very good results among boys. Dilshodbek Khamroev (-66 kg), who reached the final of the competition, lost by a narrow margin in the decisive match and won an honorable silver medal. In addition, another of our representatives, Bunyod Safarov (-73 kg), will return to our country with a bronze medal.

It is worth noting that young judokas from Uzbekistan also achieved high results in the overall team competition. Our team, which won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals, took second place in the overall ranking and once again strengthened the country's reputation in the international sports arena.

These results give rise to new hopes for the further development of Uzbek judo in large international arenas in the future. Sports experts and coaches are confident that these young talents will show even more brilliant results in future tournaments.
