Russian Cup. CSKA beat Zenit in a penalty shootout and went to the final

The second leg of the Russian Cup “RPL Way” final in Moscow was tense and intense. CSKA took to the field against Zenit in front of their fans and put on a real revenge spectacle.

After a 0:2 defeat in the first leg, today’s match was a battle of chances for CSKA. The hosts won the second leg with the same score and took the matter to a penalty shootout. In a penalty shootout full of twists and turns, the army team won 4:3 and advanced to the Russian Cup final.

In the 62nd minute of the match, Abbasbek Fayzullaev was brought on for Miralem Pjanic. The actions of the young player, who is a member of the Uzbekistan national team, were warmly received by the fans.
