Lionel Messi has been named the greatest player of all time by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), the latest ranking released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). The Argentina and Inter Miami star was named the greatest player of all time for his outstanding individual and team achievements.

Pele and Maradona left behind

Brazilian legend Pele came in second place, while another Argentine legend, Diego Maradona, rounded out the top three. Cristiano Ronaldo came in fourth.
