Faryozbek Dosmatov won the tournament in Bangkok and reached the semi-finals

From May 24 to June 1, an international boxing tournament is being held in Bangkok, Thailand. Today, our boxers will step into the ring to compete in the quarterfinals. The first victory in this tournament, which continues to strengthen Uzbekistan's high position in boxing, was secured by Farizbek Dostonov.

In the 55 kg weight category, Dostonov stepped into the ring against India's Bartwal Pavan and started dominating his opponent from the first round. Through active actions in all rounds, he won with a 5-0 score. Dostonov's physical and technical preparation left his opponent no chance, and this important victory has further raised the name of our boxers on the world stage.

We also remind that another of our boxers, Farzona Fazilova, is participating in this tournament. Farzona will step into the ring against Indonesia's Merlyn Tomatala.
