
In Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the international boxing tournament full of intense and heated fights continues. The most skilled boxers from various parts of the world are competing to secure a spot among the prize-winners. Our athletes, representing our country, are also confidently making their mark in this international arena.
Today, May 29, in the quarterfinal stage, our boxer Sabina Bobokulova (–51 kg) had her next match. She stepped into the ring against her South Korean opponent Moon Gayeon. In a tough and fierce battle, Sabina put her opponent in a difficult position with precise and strong punches.
The match lasted all 3 rounds, and all judges unanimously gave the victory to our compatriot. Sabina won with a dominant score of 5:0 and advanced to the semifinals, where she will continue fighting for tournament medals.
Sabina Bobokulova, who has been proudly representing our country, has moved one step closer to the championship with this victory. Her energetic and sharp movements in every match, her respect for her opponents, and her displayed skill once again highlight her high level.
It is also worth noting that another important and responsible fight awaits us. Our athlete Oysha Toirova will step into the ring against Ukrainian Anastasiia Chernokolenko.
