Lewandowski: "We could have been in the final, but we missed the opportunity"
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has shared his thoughts on the team's dramatic Champions League semi-final clash with Inter. According to the Poland captain, the turning point was the first leg between the two teams.

"If we had won the first leg, we would be preparing for the final in Munich right now," said Lewandowski. "But unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of the opportunities we had in that match. We did well in the second leg too - we conceded two goals quickly, then came back and scored three. But it wasn't enough."

The Catalan club lost 6-7 to Inter in the semi-final. It is worth noting that, according to Lewandowski, Barca played with team spirit, character and heart in the second leg, but in football every opportunity is important and every situation can be a sign of fate.

"We looked better as a team on the pitch, we worked together, but this time it wasn't enough," added the Reds' striker.

Lewandowski has continued to inspire Barcelona fans with his performances this season, but the club's chance to reach another Champions League final has been lost. Now the Catalans are looking to prepare for next season, draw conclusions and return to the fight for the Champions League title with an even stronger squad.
