Lewandowski expresses intention to continue his career

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has shared his thoughts on his future. The Poland national team captain emphasized that despite approaching the age of 38, he still feels good and intends to continue his career.
The experienced forward says he is currently considering various options. For Lewandowski, it is now important not just to play on the pitch, but also to enjoy life, and consider his family and personal peace of mind.
"I am almost 38, but physically I feel good, so I am considering different options. I have to take into account that it is time not only to play but also to enjoy life," said Lewandowski.
The player did not rule out the possibility of playing in lower-tier leagues. He noted that if such an option arises, he might consider it. This shows that Lewandowski wants to continue his career without high pressure, while staying involved in football.
"Lower-tier leagues? Perhaps such an option will arise, and I do not rule it out. There are about 50 days left until my contract expires, so there is still enough time to make a decision. I will listen to several offers and then decide," the striker added.
Lewandowski did not hide his satisfaction with being at Barcelona at the moment. He said he appreciates the atmosphere in the Catalan club and likes his current situation. However, a final decision regarding his future has not yet been made.
"I appreciate where I am now and I like it. We will see what happens next, but I can say one thing for sure: I want to continue my career," the Polish footballer told AS.
For context, Lewandowski won the La Liga title with Barcelona this season. His current contract with the club expires on June 30.
Lewandowski is known as one of the best strikers of the last decade in world football. Throughout his career at Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona, he has left a mark on fans with numerous goals, trophies, and records.
Now he faces a new question: another season at the top level of big football, or playing in a lower-pressure league while enjoying life more? Whatever decision he makes, one thing is clear — Lewandowski is not ready to hang up his boots yet.
