Brian Riascos: I can play in any position, unity led to victory

After the Super League round 13 match between “Pakhtakor” and “Kokand-1912” (2:0), the hosts’ forward Brian Riascos expressed his thoughts at the press conference. According to him, today’s match was very tough and hard-fought, but an important victory was achieved through team actions.

— If I talk about today’s game, we really played against a serious opponent. “Kokand-1912” showed pretty good football, especially in the first half it was quite difficult to counter their activity. But our team members showed unity, believed in our game at the right moments and created several real goal opportunities, — said Riascos.

He specifically noted his goal:
— Of course, I am very happy that I scored a goal and we won. In every moment on the pitch, I did my best for the team. This success is the result of the work of our entire team. I would also like to thank the fans who believed in us and supported us until the end. Without them, this victory would not be so sweet.

Can move freely in any attacking position

— Since I joined the team, I have been tried in different positions. For me personally, it does not matter: right wing, left wing, or central striker (“number nine”) — I feel free and confident in all. Whichever position the coach chooses for me, I will play with all my strength and try to benefit the team, — emphasized the player about his versatility.

— Today I saw a team on the field that complemented each other and fought for victory. After victories, not only one player or one direction contributes, but the whole team, even the substitutes and the fans. Simply, I can say that “Pakhtakor” is a single school and a big family.
