Liverpool demands €80M for Núñez transfer

Liverpool forward Darwin Núñez wants to join Napoli, Euro-football.ru reported.

According to Il Mattino, the Italian club has reopened negotiations with Liverpool for the Uruguayan striker. The 26-year-old would be happy to join the Serie A champions, but Liverpool is still holding firm on its demands, asking for €75–80 million (approximately 1.035–1.104 trillion UZS).

Napoli is reportedly unable to pay such a high fee. Last season, Darwin Núñez made 47 appearances across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.

According to Transfermarkt experts, his market value is estimated at around €45 million (approximately 621 billion UZS). His current performances have drawn increased attention from clubs.

As a result, Napoli is making serious efforts to acquire the player, though meeting Liverpool’s financial demands will not be easy. Negotiations are ongoing, and the final decision remains uncertain.
