“World Boxing” Cup semifinal stage: four of our boxers in decisive fights

In Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the prestigious "World Boxing" Cup has reached a critical stage — today the semifinal fights begin, reports the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.

Four female boxers representing our country have reached this stage. They will enter the ring for decisive bouts against the strongest opponents in their weight categories:

• In the 54 kg class, Feruza Kazakova will step into the ring against India's Sakshi.
  
• In the 80 kg division, Sohiba Rozmetova will face Australia's Eseta Flint.
  
• In the 65 kg category, Navbahor Hamidova will clash with American Morelle McCain.
  
• And in the 75 kg weight class, Aziza Zokirova will fight Norway's Sunniva Hofstad for a ticket to the final.
  

The bouts will begin at 14:00 and 19:00 Tashkent time, with all our compatriots fighting for victory. This semifinal stage draws great interest not only from our athletes but also from all boxing fans.

Spectators are already looking forward to new victorious results from our girls, providing them with active support and encouragement. This major competition could open new doors for our female boxers on the world stage.
