
The MMA World Championships for juniors and youth are in full swing in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Uzbekistan’s delegation, led by Muzaffar Radjabov, deputy chairman of the MMA Association, consists of 70 athletes who are actively participating in this prestigious tournament.
Recently, two of our young athletes brought more pride to the country with their achievements. Abubakr Mirzakhujayev claimed a gold medal, while Diyorjon Akhmadjonov earned bronze. These accomplishments have brought joy to the entire team and sports fans.
The current world championship features over 900 athletes from 53 countries. The largest delegations are from Ukraine (118), Uzbekistan (70), Tajikistan (47), and Kazakhstan (33).
Uzbek youth are proving their preparation and potential on the international stage. Further victories and outstanding performances from our athletes are anticipated as the tournament continues. The dedication and determination of the team is recognized as a source of inspiration for the nation’s young generation.
