"First of all, I apologize to our fans. They traveled a long way, and naturally, it’s my fault. Some of our players are still thinking about Pro League matches, so maybe I demanded the impossible from them. This match showed that our team has a good base. By the end of the year, we need to make serious conclusions," said Shatskikh.
According to him, players with little game experience were given an opportunity today, but the result was not as expected. "Will these players analyze their performance or not, I don't know. But I think some of them do not meet the level of our team," he noted.
When asked about the previous game of "Andijon," Shatskikh responded: "Was Khamyakov's team stronger than mine? I didn't understand the question."
When asked about the performance of the legionnaires, Shatskikh emphasized that he was not satisfied with their play. "No, I was not satisfied with the legionnaires' performance today. However, Tokotaev is a good player, he needs to work harder to eliminate his mistakes in the future," said the coach.
"Today, everyone made mistakes, especially in the first half. In the second half, after the chances we created, the score should have been 5:1, but it ended 0:1. It depends on the individual skills of each player. The only way to influence this is to work harder in training," Shatskikh reiterated.
The team needs to analyze the performance of all players and try to use new opportunities in future games.
