Rodri’s role in the team
Rodri is the key figure in Guardiola’s system. He acts as the link between defense and attack, playing a decisive role in bringing the ball out, resisting the opponent’s pressing, and organizing attacks. That is, in City he is not only a midfielder, but the “engine” of the entire team.
