The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Timur Kapadze, is currently in England. According to him, this trip is not a business trip or a professional development program, but a personal visit.
In an interview with Championat.Asia, Kapadze stated that he had never been to England before and wanted to see the atmosphere of English football. There was a prior agreement with Manchester City for an internship, so the visa was revoked. Since it wasn't possible to travel then, this time he headed to London before the visa expired.
- The main reason I came to England is to watch live matches and feel the atmosphere of football. Today I attended the West Ham vs. Crystal Palace match. I plan to watch the Arsenal vs. Manchester City match tomorrow. Then I intend to go to City's Cup match against Huddersfield and the EPL match against Burnley. If possible, I would like to familiarize myself with the club's facilities and observe the training process," said Kapadze.
He also aims to meet and talk with Abduqodir Husanov, a national team player currently playing in England. "It's important for me to monitor our players' performance in Europe and be aware of their condition," the coach said.
It's clear that this time it made a big impression on Kapadze. He not only watches the games of top clubs, but also strives to gain the necessary experience for his work. According to the coach, witnessing English football in person is a rich experience for any specialist.
