Following the Andijan vs. OKMK match in the 23rd round of the Super League, the visitors' head coach, Mirjalol Qosimov, answered journalists' questions.
The coach first thanked the fans who visited the stadium. In his opinion, the match gave a real football atmosphere, a fierce and impressive struggle took place on the field. However, Kasimov emphasized that his team did not play a match worthy of the defeat. He specifically noted that the goal scored in the first half was questionable, and the presence of offside was debatable. "Andijan" was congratulated on the victory, but in the second half, despite all the efforts, thanks to the disciplined defense of the opponent and the reliable play of the goalkeeper, it was not possible to score a goal. In particular, he recalled that in the last minute, Khurshid had an opportunity, but it also did not turn into a goal.
Qosimov saw his team's main problem in their inability to effectively utilize the created opportunities. In his opinion, if he had shown the same enthusiasm and effort in the second half in the first, the score could have been completely different.
The coach was also asked about Asadbek Sobirjonov. Because after he entered the field, OKMK's attacks increased. Regarding this, Kasimov said: "If we had gotten him off the head, there would have been questions. Asadbek joined the game well, but he didn't have the right to behave like this in a controversial situation. Because time wasn't on our side. In such a situation, one should only play football without unnecessary arguments."
