Yesterday, the amateur MMA (IMMAF) U-20 and senior World Championship started in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Young men and women from various countries around the world are competing for victory in this prestigious competition.
Currently, the second stage of the championship is heating up. Fortunately, our athletes representing Uzbekistan are also demonstrating their abilities in this prestigious fighting arena.
Just now, pleasant news arrived for our country. Zafarjon Asadov, competing in the 65.8 kg weight category, fought his second match and, as expected, secured a beautiful victory.
The match against Belgian representative Luka Silvan was intense and uncompromising. From the very first minutes, Asadov’s dominance was evident. He kept his opponent under pressure, imposed his style, and ultimately achieved a worthy victory.
With this result, Zafarjon Asadov became the first quarter-finalist of the championship. Now he will face even stronger opponents in the next stage of the competition inside the octagon.
It should be specially noted that in such major competitions, each victory is a great honor not only for the athlete but also for the entire country. Asadov’s victory is seen as a bright indication of the development of Uzbekistan’s MMA school.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting Zafarjon’s next fight. Because winning at every stage could lead him to a medal.
