The Muslim Football League began its activities in Moscow

A new and unique initiative was implemented in Moscow, the capital of Russia - a Muslim football league called UMMA LEAGUE was established. The main goal of the project is to consolidate various Muslim teams and existing tournaments into a single format and establish a football competition based on special religious criteria in the capital.

League head Rinat Kayumov emphasized that all participants in this competition must strictly adhere to the established rules. For example, compliance with dress code requirements has been implemented - exposing private parts is absolutely prohibited. Also, using offensive language in the square is not allowed. If a player makes such a mistake, they will either receive a warning or be suspended from several matches.

According to Kayumov, the league currently includes 14 teams, and their official registration process is ongoing. At the same time, representatives of other religions can participate in the league along with Muslims.

It is noted that the competition is intended only for amateur football players. Professional athletes are not eligible to participate in the games, but they can cooperate with teams as advisors or coaches.
