The Uzbekistan national team will travel to Malaysia tonight to participate in the match against the Uruguay national team. This was announced following the decision of the team's head coach, Fabio Cannavaro.
The Italian manager has formed a new squad for the match. He preferred to let some of the players who participated in the training camp against Kuwait take a break and attracted a number of new candidates in their place.
According to reports, Farrukh Sayfiyev ("Neftchi"), Odiljon Hamrobekov ("Traktor," Iran), and Abbosbek Fayzullayev ("Istanbul Bashakshehir," Turkey), who participated in the match against Kuwait, were not included in the team this time due to injuries. Additionally, Muhammadrasul Abdumajidov (Pakhtakor), Umarali Rahmonaliyev (Sabah, Azerbaijan), Nodir Abdurazzoqov (OKMK), Anvar Hojimirzayev (Dinamo), and Rustam Turdimurodov (Surxon) were also excluded from the roster by coaches' decision.
Among the new recruits are Navbahor forward Ruslan Jiyanov and Nasaf forward Husayn Norchayev. For the first time, they will have the opportunity to be tested in the starting lineup under Fabio Cannavaro.

As a reminder, the Uzbekistan national team's friendly match against Uruguay will take place on October 13th at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca. The match kicks off at 5:45 PM Tashkent time.
