One of Saudi Arabia’s top clubs, Al Ahli, has begun serious talks to sign Real Madrid star forward Vinicius Junior. This was reported by Indykaila News.
According to the source, the Saudis are preparing a massive offer worth around £300 million for the Brazilian striker. However, the deal will only happen if Vinicius rejects Real Madrid’s new contract proposal.
At the moment, Real Madrid is working on extending the player’s contract. His current deal runs until 2027, and he is considered one of the main leaders of the “royal club.”
It is noted that Al Ahli plans to finalize the transfer during the summer window. The Saudi club has boosted its league’s prestige in recent years by signing top European players — and Vinicius could be their next “major catch.”
Football analysts view this move as highly likely — first, because money is no issue for the Saudis, and second, because the Arab League could offer Vinicius both a higher salary and a new challenge.
At the same time, Real Madrid is not rushing into a transfer — the club does not intend to sell the forward before finding a proper replacement.
