The night in Miami was Leo’s night. In the next MLS round, Inter Miami defeated Atlanta 4–0 at home. Messi opened the scoring and completed his brace late in the second half. In addition, Leo played the full 90 minutes and supplied the decisive assist for Jordi Alba’s goal.
The harmony on the front line worked again: early in the second half Alba increased the lead, and soon after Luis Suárez put an end to the resistance. The Catalan friends — Messi, Alba, Suárez — once again showed their “class.”
