Former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp shared his thoughts on the German national team’s performance and head coach Julian Nagelsmann’s work during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
“I believe in the German national team! They have great potential. Julian is a talented and modern coach who is bringing new energy into the squad. We have strong players; the key is to guide their potential in the right direction,” Klopp told N-TV.
According to the coach, Nagelsmann’s approach could return Germany to the top.
“Julian has a great feel for football. He is tactically very intelligent and, despite his young age, already very experienced. He knows how to unite the team and give players confidence. That’s how Germany will regain its pride and belief,” Klopp added.
The German national team will play its fourth 2026 World Cup qualifying match today, October 13, against Northern Ireland. The game will take place in Belfast.
Football experts believe that under Nagelsmann’s leadership, Germany could be entering a new era in its football history.
