Reports that the Chelsea star was driving a taxi have been denied

Reports have circulated on social media that Mikhail Mudrik, a player for the Ukrainian national team and London's Chelsea club, is working as a taxi driver. The reports first appeared on the X (formerly Twitter) platform, stating that the footballer had chosen a new profession.

This information was even accompanied by a photo of the driver's profile in the Uber app named "Mikhaylo," who was very similar to Mudrik. However, the authenticity of these drawings has not been proven. They can be created or edited using artificial intelligence.

Most importantly, Mudryk is currently deprived of his driver's license in the UK. He was deprived of his driver's license for 6 months for violating the rules in his BMW M8 and receiving 13 fines in 18 months.

As a reminder, the player was temporarily suspended from football for failing a doping test. The 24-year-old winger hasn't played since November 2024. He was transferred from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea in 2023 for €100 million and his contract runs until 2031.
