Arsenal conceded the fewest goals in Europe's top 5 leagues

Transfermarkt portal has published a ranking of the clubs with the best defense among the top five European championship clubs. The ranking includes clubs from the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, French Ligue 1, and Italian Serie A.

This was reported by Euro-football.ru. The London club Arsenal secured the first place in the ranking.

The Gunners conceded only three goals in 12 official matches played in all competitions. Only one of these goals was from open play, scored by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

Arsenal has conceded an average of 0.25 goals per game. AC Milan is in second place.

The Italians have conceded four goals to their opponents. However, Milan has played fewer matches so far than Arsenal, only nine, and is not participating in European competitions this season.

The third spot is also held by another Italian club — Roma. The Romans have conceded five goals in nine matches.
