The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, sincerely congratulated the winners and participants of this year's "Zakovat-Gambit" chess tournament. He sent inspiring words to the chess players through his personal Telegram channel.
This year, the "Zakovat-Gambit" tournament was organized for the fourth time, and a total of 2,210 chess players from different regions of the country took part in it. Among them were 286 women and girls, whose active participation in the competition was especially noted.

According to Mirziyoyeva, the "Zakovat-Gambit" project not only increased interest in the field of chess, but also made a great contribution to the formation of strategic thinking, patience, and the desire for success in the younger generation.
"We have traveled together from the time of distrust of our ideas to gaining international recognition and pride in our chess players. This is the result of hard work, trust, and collective dedication," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.

According to him, chess is not only a sport, but also an intellectual challenge that shapes a culture of thinking. Therefore, the girls' victories among the tournament participants testify to the growing activity and potential of women in the country.
"I am especially pleased with the achievements of our girls. They became a source of inspiration not only through the chessboard, but also through their talent and will. I wish all participants further success and, most importantly, self-confidence," Mirziyoyeva wrote in her address.

It is noted that the "Zakovat-Gambit" project has become one of the most popular intellectual competitions in the country in recent years. It plays an important role in educating a new generation of intellectual athletes by directing young people towards knowledge, analysis, and strategic thinking.
The winners and prize-winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. The tournament is considered another important step towards the further popularization of chess in the country and the stimulation of intellectual development among young people.
